This is one of three teacups that I got when we cleaned out my grandma's house several years ago. My teacups are out for display on a shelf. My grandma kept hers on the buffet, but used them as well. With winter approaching, I will have to make it a point to use one of my teacups when I sit down to have a cup of tea or hot chocolate.

What a beautiful photograph, Clair! Did you take that picture? I like the contrast of the dark background.
Last year one of my friends had a Christmas tea party with her grandma's tea cups. It was an honor to be invited and to have her share some memories of her grandmother.
When my mom visits, she gets the tea cups out. I remember sipping tea at grandmas and having toast with jelly. Good memories.
