Microcrafts
Microcrafts compiled by Margaret McGuire, Alicia Kachmar, Katie Hatz, and Friends is a book I recently picked up while I was at the library. The title is apt, as all the crafts are quite tiny and cute. There are directions for making twenty five different projects. Some are animals like dogs, owls, and teddy bears, all which are smaller than a matchbox. Another project is a greeting card smaller than one by one and a half inches. The one project I plan to make is the little book, which is also smaller than one by two inches. If you like to look at craft books, I would recommend looking at this one even if you don't want any tiny crafts.

Sounds like an interesting book. My emerging crafter might have some input on which projects to make, I'm guessing. (He recently learned the term "beading" in SS class.)
