Five Miles South of Peculiar

I read Five Miles South of Peculiar by Angela Hunt  this week.  Set primarily in northern Florida,  it is the story of twin sisters Darlene and Carlene and their younger sister Nolie (short for Magnolia).  Darlene and Nolie have always lived on their family's estate while Carlene went away to New York City for a career on broadway.  The story begins when Carlene finds out that her career is over.   She and Darlene are approaching their 50th birthday.  Despite Carlene and Darlene being twins, they haven't been particularly close since Carlene went away, so her return home is complicated.   Though somewhat predictable, I was satisfied when I set down the book at the end.  If you are looking for a relaxing book to read, this would fit the bill.
