The finca has bananas, too, and I saw the process of how they dehydrate some of them to package and then sell. 
Besides coffee and bananas, they also have bees and sell honey from the farm. It was quite interesting, and worth the hour plus trip each way by chicken bus (I did not go by myself).I also was glad to get out of the city....here is the road that goes past the plantation.

Sounds like an interesting diversion. Did you get to try the dried bananas? Are they like the ones you'd find here in the States?
I love all the pictures. It looks so peaceful. I would love to take a trip like that someday.
I bet you'll have some interesting farm stories to share with the dairy farmers 😃
