soft and snuggly

This is my newest quilt. I finished it on Saturday, just in time for winter. This is the fifth quilt I made this year, but the first one for me. It is a lap quilt, and long enough to cover up with if I am taking a nap. The top was pieced by machine, but I hand quilted an X in every square. It took about three months to complete.

Yes, like Melissa I love the colors too! I am thinking of taking a quilting class--inspired by you. I wish you were here to teach me.

Love the colors...I used pink, brown, and green in a quilt I made last year for my granddaughter. I like the way you mixed hand quilting and machine quilting. Looks warm!!

Dots, dots and more dots-combined with color, the pattern is flirting with winter!
I still have the quilt you made Madi. I'm working on a quilt using pinks, greens and browns also, though I'm using swirly patterns.
Miss you, bundle up, keep warm!

I love the colors and the craftsmanship that went into this Clair! You must feel proud as punch when you get a quilt done.

This quilt has rhythm and charm; the more you look at it, the more you like.
